Our Response Targets (SLAs)
- Critical (service down, login failures, data access problems): first response within 2 business hours; updates every 4 hours until resolved.
- High (major feature broken, severe performance issues): first response within 4 business hours; daily updates.
- Normal (bugs, usability issues, billing questions): first response within 1 business day.
- Suggestions/Feedback: acknowledged within 2 business days and routed to Product.

Legal
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using AGAP.AI, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (both together, the “Agreement”). If you use Agapai on behalf of an organization, you represent that you’re authorized to bind that organization.
Service description
Agapai is a milestone monitoring platform that helps you plan, track, and reflect on personal or team milestones. Some features use AI to assist with organization, summaries, and recommendations. Agapai is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological, or legal advice.
Eligibility
You must be 13+ (or the age of digital consent in your country). If you are under 18, you may only use Agapai with parent/guardian consent. Organizations using Agapai with minors must obtain and document valid consent.
Your content & license to us
You retain ownership of the content you upload (“User Content”). You grant Agapai a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and display User Content solely to operate and improve the Service. We do not sell your data.
AI features
- We may use third-party AI providers to process prompts and generate outputs.
- Training: By default, your content is not used to train foundation models unless you opt in (Settings → Privacy → “Contribute to model improvement”).
- Automated outputs can be imperfect; review before acting.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: (a) violate laws; (b) infringe IP or privacy; (c) upload malware, spam, or unlawful content; (d) attempt to reverse engineer or abuse rate limits; (e) use the Service to profile individuals in a discriminatory way.
Third-party services
Some features integrate with third-party services (e.g., app stores, payment processors, cloud providers). Their terms and privacy practices apply when you use them.
Intellectual property
Agapai and its logos, the platform UI, and proprietary features are owned by AGAPAI TECHNOLOGIES CORP. and protected by applicable IP laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works except as allowed by the Agreement.
Feedback
If you send feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use them without obligation.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND NON-INTERRUPTION.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR ₱10,000, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold Agapai harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of the Agreement.
Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breaches, fraud, security risk, or legal compliance. You can close your account any time; data deletion follows Section 3.10.
Governing law & venue
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Exclusive venue is the courts of Makati City, Philippines, unless another venue is required by mandatory law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update Terms to reflect changes in features or law. We will notify you in-app and/or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
Privacy
We comply with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173) and its IRR, and we align with the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA where applicable.
What we collect
- Account & Profile: name, email, password (hashed), country, time zone, profile photo (optional).
- App Data: milestones, tasks, notes, check-ins, attachments, timestamps, analytics events (e.g., feature usage).
- Device & Technical: device type, OS, app version, IP address, coarse location (city/country), language, crash logs.
- Billing (Pro): payment method token, last four digits, billing name/address (handled by our PCI-compliant processor).
- Support: messages and metadata you send to support channels.
- Sensitive categories: We do not require health, biometric, or precise geolocation data. If you voluntarily store sensitive information in notes or attachments, we process it only to provide the Service and as permitted by law and your consent.
How we use data (purposes & legal bases)
- Provide & secure the Service (contract: perform our obligations; legitimate interests).
- Personalize experience & AI-assisted features (consent/legitimate interests).
- Usage analytics & product improvement (legitimate interests; where required, consent via cookie banner).
- Communications: transactional emails (contract); service announcements and feature updates (legitimate interests/consent).
- Billing & fraud prevention (legal obligations/legitimate interests).
- Legal compliance: respond to lawful requests, enforce Terms (legal obligations).
AI processing & automated decisions
Some features generate recommendations or summaries. We do not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects without human review. You can opt out of non-essential AI personalization in Settings → Privacy.
Cookies & similar technologies
We use essential cookies for login and security, and optional analytics cookies for performance and feature usage. Manage preferences via our Cookie Settings banner. Your browser may also allow blocking cookies.
Sharing & disclosure
We do not sell personal data. We share data only with:
- Processors: hosting, storage, analytics, email, customer support, payment processors—bound by DPAs and confidentiality.
- Legal: when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business transfers: in a merger or acquisition, your data may transfer subject to this Policy’s protections.
International transfers
Data may be processed outside your country. Where required, we use safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or Philippines-approved mechanisms, and we assess vendor security.
Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest for primary data stores, role-based access, least-privilege, and routine vendor/security reviews. No system is 100% secure; report issues to security@agapai.ph. We’ll notify you and the NPC/other authorities of data breaches as required by law.
Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above:
- Account data: for your active account, then 30 days after deletion for recovery, unless law requires longer.
- Logs/analytics: typically 12–24 months, aggregated thereafter.
- Legal/compliance records: per statutory requirements.
Your rights
Under the Philippine DPA: right to be informed, object, access, rectify, erasure/blocking, data portability, damages, and lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
- GDPR (if applicable): rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and to withdraw consent; lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
- How to exercise: Use Settings → Privacy or email privacy@agap.ai. We’ll verify your identity and respond within 30 days (or as required by law).
Account closure & deletion
You may delete your account in Settings → Account. We delete personal data within 30 days, except where retention is legally required or for defending legal claims. Backups roll off per lifecycle schedules.
Children’s privacy
AGAP.AI is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child provided data, contact privacy@agapai.ph for prompt removal.
Marketing
We send service emails (e.g., password resets, transactional notices). For optional newsletters or product updates, we’ll ask for consent; you may unsubscribe at any time.
Do Not Track & opt-out signals
Where legally required, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals for sale/sharing opt-outs.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We’ll post updates here and notify you in-app and/or via email when changes are material. Continued use after the effective date indicates acceptance.

Subprocessors (Transparency)
We work with carefully vetted subprocessors to provide the Service (hosting, analytics, email delivery, payments, AI processing). We maintain an up-to-date list at Settings → Privacy → Subprocessors with purpose, location, and contact. We will give advance notice of material changes.
Responsible Disclosure (Security)
If you discover a vulnerability, email security@agapai.ph with details and reproduction steps. Please avoid accessing other users’ data, disrupting service, or publicly disclosing before we fix the issue. We acknowledge valid reports and may offer a thank-you.
