AGAP.AI, the Filipino-developed AI platform that helps parents track children’s developmental milestones, has been accepted into the SCALE NCR Acceleration Program Cohort—a Department of Science and Technology (DOST)–backed initiative that supports high-potential, tech-enabled startups across Metro Manila.
SCALE NCR (Strategic and Collaborative Alliance for Leveraging Ecosystems of Startups – National Capital Region) is a consortium of Technology Business Incubators (TBIs) that provides startups access to mentorship, ecosystem partners, and platforms designed to help ventures become investable and scalable.
What this means for AGAP.AI
Through SCALE NCR’s ecosystem, AGAP.AI will gain stronger support in refining its business model, validating its market approach, and building the partnerships needed to expand responsibly—especially at the intersection of education and health & well-being. SCALE NCR has also launched initiatives such as a Startup Institute for capability-building and an NCR Investors Network to help connect startups with potential funders and mentors.
AGAP.AI’s acceptance into the cohort comes as the platform continues to build momentum as an innovation aimed at improving early detection and early intervention outcomes. As noted in a feature on the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) website, AGAP.AI is designed to help families monitor development using a milestone-based approach, and the team’s mission is to make monitoring “accessible to every Filipino family.”
About SCALE NCR
SCALE NCR is part of a broader effort to strengthen Metro Manila’s startup ecosystem through collaboration among incubators, academe, government, and the private sector—supporting programs that help founders navigate resources, partnerships, and commercialization pathways.
